Privacy Policy (AVG/GDPR)

Polder Peptides processes customer data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG/GDPR). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

Data controller

Polder Peptides (Netherlands) is the data controller responsible for your personal data. For privacy requests, contact info@polderpeptides.nl.

What data we collect

  • Order data: name, email, shipping address, billing address, phone (optional), order history.
  • Payment data: we do not store crypto wallet keys or transaction details beyond what is required to match a payment to an order (e.g. transaction hash you email us).
  • Usage data: standard server logs (IP, browser, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.
  • Communication: emails you send us are retained for customer service.

Why we collect it

  • To process and fulfill your order.
  • To provide customer service and handle returns.
  • To comply with legal and tax obligations (e.g. EU OSS VAT reporting).
  • To prevent fraud and abuse.

We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use it for behavioural advertising.

Legal basis

  • Contract — to fulfill the order you placed with us.
  • Legal obligation — tax records, financial retention requirements.
  • Legitimate interest — fraud prevention and network security.

How long we keep it

Order and tax data is retained for 7 years per Dutch tax law. Server logs are rotated regularly. Customer accounts can be deleted on request (see below).

Your rights

Under the AVG/GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of your data.
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure — request deletion ("right to be forgotten").
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Complaint — lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the shopping cart and checkout to function. We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.

International transfers

All processing takes place within the EU. We do not transfer your data outside the European Economic Area.
